- train horse(s) according to horse schedule($125)
- rearange horse feed schedule due to last performance or workout (must go by head trainer first)
- rearange horse train schedule (head trainer must aprove)
- supervise and direct stable staff, riders, sulky drivers and other workers ($50)
- plan, supervise and carry out training programs for horses($50)
- advertise their services to attract clients ($25)
- employ and manage staff in accordance with relevant laws ($30)
- train apprentice riders and stablehands ($150)
- make sure that horses are exercised($40)
- supervise the training of horses for competitions ($40)
- check and record, on a daily basis, the health status and behaviour of animals in their care ($40)
* Horse trainers may be required to work long hours. Much of their work is carried out very early in the morning and they may continue to work all day.
Riders May: ($450)
- Rides horse to exercise, condition, following specific instructions of training personnel. ($125)
- Informs trainer of horse's behavior and physical condition to modify training or conditioning in preparation for events. ($60)
- Trail Boss on organized trail rides($50)
- Assisting in the training of farm and boarded horses($75)
- advertise their services to attract clients($20)
- receive instructions from trainer before exercising (only if the trainer tell you which horse to exercise)
- judge the abilities of each horse and the best tactics to use to win each event($40)
- discuss performances of horses with trainers after workouts($40)
- report anything that may have affected the horse's performance($40)

- clean and maintain stables and training equipment ($50)
- accompany horses to equestrian events ($10)
- clean each horses stall, fill water tubs ($25)
- open each runway to each horse at time said to($20)
- clean and prepare comfortable sleeping quarters for animals ($60)
- lead a horse out into a pasture/hotwalker/corral to clean stall ($30)
- transfer animals between enclosures ($10)
- maintain equipment in working order ($60)
* Stablehands start work early in the morning and may be required to work on weekends and public holidays. The work must be done in all kinds of weather. Long hours are usually involved.

- brush and groom, feed, handle and exercise horses and lead them to their stables ($100)
- check horses for lameness, common injuries, ailments and infections ($40)
- give first aid, medication or other treatment to horses ($75)
- accompany horses to equestrian events ($10)
- bridle and saddle horses ($80)
- accustom horses to reins and harnesses ($20)
- prepare food (including special diets), transport it to feeding areas, and deliver food and water to animals ($45)
- bathe and groom animals, and treat them ($45)
