Day two Bailey thought with a smile on her face. She turned the ignition off in her truck and hopped out of the truck. She put the keys in her back pocket and strode towards the barn again. The regular smell of horse and hay came together along with the warmth of the barn as she stepped through.
The small sun brought in a few rays of sunshine and lit the barn enough to work. First, she walked through the barn looking at the four horses, making sure they were all looking good and not sick.
That was rather easy. She grabbed the grooming bucket next to Cherry's stall and decided to go backwards this time. "Hello again" She said calmly as she stepped into the stall, "Your not going to act up today too are you?" She asked casually like the horse was a person. Grabbing the soft brush she started in on the horse.
Her stable hands had not yet arrived when Bailey got done with Cherry so she moved on to Reale. The colt charmed Bailey. She loved his attitude. It wasn't hard to groom him, he was little. Reale was good as he had been yesterday and Bailey finished with him.
Moving onto Rose, the bay mare was glad to see that the attention was upon her. She was a good mare and Bailey enjoyed working with her as well. Still no stable hands as Bailey moved onto Thomas.
The stallion was beautiful and had a personality to match. Bailey loved the working with the stallion. She brushed his face gently and moved onto his body and then his feet. Bailey looked at her watch and then sighed. Walking to the second barn to work the second barn.
