He laughed softly when she said the mare was too novice. Novice horses don't get better without some training. He said. Calm horses just need something to spice up their day, something they don't know, or just taking them out and galloping over a cross-country course. Not that I'm going to do it of course. He said and grinned.
He liked her leaning on him, not sure why. It had to just be the comfort of having a friend, right? Maybe. She was cute, then again so where a lot of the girls back home. Then again he could be starting new here, actually having a life. Then again would life be life without spending almost every waking moment with horses? Dude. Stop thinking so much. He thought to himself and turned his mind back onto the bidding.
ooc; Aly wouldn't happen to like Max now would she? rofl

Aly laughed when he laughed. "You're nice. Atleast I speak my mine and I'm honest about things." Aly giggled a tad more. "True but at ehr age it's difficult. It the horse was younger I'd agree." Aly smiled up at max. He was real cute when he laughed. He was cute. Handsome actually. Aly liked leaning on him. Turnnig ehr attention back to the horses eh waited for the announcer to start the bidding on the Warmblood mare. Aly hadn't owned a Warmblood for a while now. What, it had to be atleast 6 years. Warmblood where one of Aly's actually favorite breed of horses. They were different adn had better prospect. Real good offspring adn good attitudes on them. Most of them that is. Aly wanted to be more then friends with Max. But he'd have to make all the mvoes. It was the guys job.

She smiled as the warmblood mare was led out into the arena. The Warmblood seemed nice and calm as she was walked around the arena. She couldn't be more than seven, so Amber made a decision. "All right ladies and gentlemen, we have a fine young mare here. Let's start the bidding at... $4,000. Do I hear $4,000?" the auctioner called into the mic. The girl raised her hand and bid $4,500 after some random guy who looked like he had a lot of money. This unnerved Amber a little, but she would try her best to get this lovely girl.

A navy blue ford pick-up drove onto the gravel drive towards the auction house. She picked up her wallet and truck keys, un-doing her seat-belt quickly. She knew the auction had already started and didn't want to miss it. Storm walked into the auction house, seeing many people around she picked up the number #36 and a forum and sat down. She noticed the two people beside her seemed to be looking at the warmblood mare. She quickly scanned the foroum and decided she would bid on the holistern gelding, seemed to be a good jumper, a definate plus. She scanned the crowd, and focused her attention on the horse in the auction block.

The girl sighed and bit her lip. She didn't know whether to put a final bid on the mare at $4,850. Nobody was buying... she glanced around, before raising her card. "$4,850!" she called confidently. This mare was hers. The auctioneer sighed, glad that he would be able to get one more horse off his hands. "Once... twice...," -he put in a lengthy pause- "...SOLD to the young lady to my left." Amber smiled, but knew this was her last horse. She would break the bank if it wasn't! She chuckled, knowing well that she was quite well off. She scribbled a check for both the warmblood mare as well as the Appendix Quarter Horse whom she had bought and gave them to the financial director who was sitting at a table with his assistant. Then happily, she loaded the two mares into her trailer and drove back to Three Crest.

Storm sighed, waiting for the auctioneer to call for the holistern gelding.

The man smiled and nodded to Amber briefly before looking to what horse was next. He smiled, seeing it was the dapple gray gelding. People had been talking about him all week long, seeing if they could get in early bids. With a chuckle, he began. "Here we have a right fine Holsteiner gelding. Pretty, too..." he said as the horse was led at a trot into the small round pen. "Let's start the bidding at $5,000. Great horse here, folks, great horse..." he said, and called out to start the bidding.

Watching the Warmblood get lead out of the arena, Aly smiled. Not it was time for the Holsteiner gelding. Turning to max she grinned. 'Ready?" She asked waiting to see if he want her to bid on te orse for the farm or not. They hadn't bid on one horse. Well, Aly didn't. That's what she meant. Looking back down to the gelding se grinned. Listening to the auctioneer, she turned back to Max waiting for an answer to her questions previously asked.
The gelding walked around the pen. It was he and the Friesian in the arena now. The handler, who was a female, lead the gelding out of the little penned up section and began walking im around to show the crowd of bidders. The gelding tossed is head and pranced a few steps once he noticed he wouldn't be locked up in that stupid pen. After getting a few spunks out, he settled down and walked calmly beside the handler. His head was low and he was very relaxed down. His long slender body moved in a swiftly motion. It was just so breath taking. he was a real nice looknig horse.

Storm watched as they led the grey gelding out, raising her #36 card and calling out $5,000 she looked at the gelding as he walked around the areana. After getting a few spunks out, he relaxed and walked with his head slightly down but his eyes and ears were competly alert to the crowd. She wondered how many other bidders there would be for him, it wasn't that she was on a tight budget, she just wanted to know.
